The last Sunday in May was the coldest winter morning on record for the month. Bec and Josh wanted a beach shoot with their gorgeous boy Bungee. Beach shoots are always a challenge because of all the distractions. Other dogs, beckoning waves, long stretches of sand where my clients just don’t come back! It’s always an interesting couple of hours. I suggested that we shoot at sunrise. I think I made that suggestion when the sun was still getting up at 5.00am and it was warm outside! So the sun was up at 6.00 and I wore a beanie. It was freezing!!!!! I met Bec, Josh and Bungee at Duranbah Beach just on the border of the Queensland and NSW. What a fabulous location! It was just us, a couple of surfers and one lone kelpie on the beach. We were all amazed at how this sweet little pup was happy to sit, totally focused on the surf, waiting whilst his owner was out for an early. I love this couple and Bungee is the sweetest, most beautiful border collie. He is well behaved, and highly trained. He is a graduate of Anthea Holmes and Craig A Murray Training. Bungee has done puppy school and juvenile training with Anthea and you can tell.
